COVID Response | Healthy Working Guidelines

We appreciate your assistance in helping us to keep Salt Space Coworking a happy and healthy place to work for everyone.  Here are a few simple things that you can do to help reduce the risk from COVID-19 and other communicable diseases such as the flu.   

 

STAY AT HOME WHEN SICK – if you are feeling unwell, even with only very mild symptoms, it’s important to stay home.  

TEST FOR COVID-19 IF YOU HAVE SYMPTOMS If you are feeling unwell test for COVID-19.  If you test positive to Covid-19 please follow Queensland Health guidelines. While isolation is no longer a legal requirement, if you test positive for COVID-19, staying at home protects the community.  Find out more about testing. 

 

WEAR A MASK there are no Public Health Directions in effect requiring you to wear a face mask but wearing a mask at times will assist in keeping yourself and others safe. Find out more about wearing masks. 

 

KEEP YOUR DISTANCE – We ask that when you are walking around Salt Space Coworking and using common facilities, you be aware of social distancing and maintain 1.5m between yourself and others wherever possible. 

 

GOOD HAND HYGIENE – It sounds simple, but washing your hands properly is important. Wash your hands with soap regularly, try not to touch your face. Use hand sanitiser if you can’t wash your hands.  Find out more about hand washing.

 

COUGH ETIQUETTE – While coughing or sneezing, cover your mouth and nose with a tissue, sleeve, or elbow. 

 

Other things we do at Salt Space Coworking :

 

CLEANING STANDARDS – We maintain regular cleaning of Salt Space Coworking. Complimentary hand sanitiser is located throughout Salt Space Coworking for members and guests to use. Disinfectant products and paper towels are located throughout Salt Space Coworking for your use.

 

VENTILATION AND AIR CONDITIONING –  Weather permitting, our preference is to allow fresh airflow throughout the floor by opening windows and doors whenever practicable to do so. On hot/humid or cold/windy days windows and doors will be closed and the air conditioners used to heat or cool the building. The air conditioning filters are checked and cleaned regularly.  

 

COMMUNICATION – We will communicate with members/guests via email and signs posted around Salt Space Coworking.  Please notify us if you change your email address to enable us to keep you updated as required.
