This welcome pack provides all information on our space and the terms and conditions of your membership to assist you in making the most of your coworking experience.
🔐 Security & Access
If you see someone suspicious or something doesn’t feel right, please let us know straight away. Trust your gut.
Some areas are recorded for safety reviews only. Footage is not monitored live.
We monitor the space, but you’re responsible for your own items. Don’t leave valuables unattended or in shared/open shelving.
Hot desks and meeting rooms may be used by external guests on weekends. The main contact manages access. Please expect occasional visitors.
Please ensure entry doors stay closed on weekends and after hours, access via 24/7 access card only
Please ensure you lock your studio door every time you leave.
Don’t leave valuables at your desk unless secured. Take laptops and devices home with you each day.

- Close windows
- Ensure doors at top of stairs and front entry shut properly behind you
- Cards are assigned to individuals and must not be shared.
- Report lost cards or keys immediately so we can deactivate them.
$400 is required for 24/7 access. This is fully refundable when your card/key is returned. Provide bank details for refund processing.

All members get 2 hours free per day, subject to availability.
- Studios: 8 hours FREE/month, then 50% off
- Dedicated Desks: 4 hours FREE/month, then 50% off
- Hot Desks: 50% off same-day hourly bookings
- Virtual Office Members: 50% off all bookings
🪑 Coworking & Desks
- Look for “DESK AVAILABLE” signage
- First-come, first-served shared space
- Includes monitor with HDMI/USBC
- Please don’t move items or chairs at reserved desks, these are dedicated desk and hold coworkers personal belongings
- Reserved for exclusive use for coworker renting the desk
- Includes shelving & 24/7 access (with deposit)
Guests are welcome to enter with you. Please accompany them at all times and ensure they respect the space and others’ belongings. Book them a desk if required, no booking required for shared areas
📶 WiFi, Equipment & Comfort
Login details are on white framed signage in shelving in each space.
- You are welcome to bring to your desk your own equipment/chair/monitors.
- Do not move items from reserved desks
- Use aircon or windows as needed, feel free to adjust temperature, controllers stored near aircons on shelving
- You are welcome to take your calls at your desk with headphones
- Use meeting pod, room or balcony for private calls
💾 Printing & Stationery
- Access printing on Salt Space WIFI
- Reception printer: Brother MFC-L8690CDW
- Free for coworkers, $5 flat rate for externals
- Instructions posted above printer

🍽️ Kitchen Use
- Two kitchens with fridge, microwave, sandwich press and toaster
- Milk, tea, coffee, and filtered water provided
- Breville machine in the kitchen next to the meeting room
- Ground coffee/choc/sugar included in cupboard above microwave
- Clean after use and refill with filtered water
- Use labels and pens provided
- Store food in fridge or cupboards below benches
- Expired/unlabelled food removed on weekends
🪑 Facilities & Cleaning
- Located next to the meeting room
- Body wash and bathmats provided
- Hang wet towels on balcony at top of stairs, on provided hooks
- Shared space for calls/meetings and socialising, no smoking allowed
- Carry your access card outside in case of lockout
- Cleaners come Tuesdays and Fridays out of hours
- Please clean your own desk and items
- Use kitchen bins for food waste
- Large Cardboard can be disposed of in industrial sized blue-lid bin downstairs (out back of Salt Space)
- Please don’t use yellow-lid recycling bins (These are for private residents only)
- Cleaning products are available under both kitchen sinks for your use

- Free street parking on surrounding streets
- No alarms in building
- Evacuation diagram provided onsite
- Fire hose/extinguishers on deck & entry
- Alert staff immediately to any threats
- Salt Space is for Office use only
- No overnight stays allowed
📄 Legal, Insurance & Privacy
- Arrange your own contents & public liability cover
- Only use tested and compliant electrical devices
- Your data is only used to operate Salt Space
- Invoices sent via Odoo; updates via email
- Full privacy policy available on request
