👥 Can I Receive Mail Under Multiple Names?
Yes. We can receive mail under multiple names (up to 4 total, including the Primary Contact) as long as they are registered under your account.
To add or remove a name, please email work@saltspace.com.au and we will ensure your account is updated.
Please provide all names in advance so we can ensure your mail is correctly assigned and avoid any returned items.
🛑 Cancelling your Personal Mailing Address
To cancel your Personal Mailing Address, please advise your cancellation date using the form below.
Before your membership ends:
- Remove our address as your registered mailing address.
- Collect any remaining mail or parcels.
- Settle all outstanding balances.
- (Optional) If you expect to receive mail after cancellation, provide a forwarding address (a $10 fee per forwarded item applies).
Without a forwarding address, any mail received after termination will be returned or securely discarded.
How We Handle Your Mail at Salt Space Coworking, New Farm
📥 How is my mail received at Salt Space Coworking?
All mail is delivered to our secure mailbox located at our entrance. Larger packages are received by our reception team during staffed hours (8 AM – 5 PM, Monday to Friday).
🔒 How is my mail stored once received?
After we receive your mail, it is stored securely in our locked office. Only authorised staff have access to this area, ensuring your privacy and security.
🔔 Email Notification When Mail Arrives
We’ll send you an email with a photo of your mail or package within 24 hours of receiving it. That way, you always know what’s arrived.
📄 Option 1: Scan & Email
Want to see your mail without coming in? Just reply to your notification email and we’ll scan and email the contents to you.
You can then choose whether to:
– Pick it up later
– Have it securely destroyed (great for junk mail)
📦 Option 2: Collecting Mail in Person
Stop by during our staffed hours (Mon–Fri, 8 AM to 5 PM) and bring photo ID for verification.
Need to collect outside these hours? We can accommodate in special circumstances, email us to organise.
👥 Option 3: Authorise someone else to collect
For your security, authorisation must be sent from your registered primary email address. This ensures we have a verified digital record of your consent.
Requirement: The collector must present a valid photo ID. Mail is stored under the primary contact name, so please ensure they quote this name upon arrival.

⏳ How Long Will We Hold Your Mail?
We securely store your mail for up to 1 month. If you need longer, please get in touch to arrange it.

Due to our building entry access and available storage at our office, we can only receive parcels up to 50cm × 50cm × 50cm and up to 10kg per package.
Deliveries larger than this may not be accepted by reception. If you are expecting a larger item, please contact us in advance so we can confirm whether we are able to receive it.

Not Included in our Personal Mailing Address Subscription
The following services are not included in your personal mailing address subscription and may incur additional charges or require a separate agreement:

- ❌ Mail related to business — please see our Virtual Office service for business mail handling. (Personal mail, postal address only.)
- ❌ Parcel & mail forwarding (charged per item $10 + postage). Mail forwarding is available through our Mail Forwarding Service.
- ❌ Handling of large deliveries, equipment, or parcels over 50cm x 50cm x 50cm or over 10kg without prior approval
- ❌ Repackaging or labelling of parcels (mail forwarding customers may request this only when suitable)
- ❌ Receiving pallets, freight, or bulk shipments
- ❌ Returns processing or outgoing parcel services (forwarding service applies only to incoming mail)
- ❌ Receipt of more than 40 items per month

Yes. We can forward items anywhere in Australia on request. Mail forwarding is $10 per item plus postage. Reply to your notification email to arrange forwarding when needed.
How long will you hold my mail and parcels in New Farm?
We securely hold your mail for up to one month. If you need longer, contact us and we’ll do our best to accommodate your situation.
Can someone else collect my mail on my behalf?
