🔔 Mail Forwarding Process Update (Credit System Changes)

We’ve updated our Mail Forwarding process. If you previously purchased mail forwarding credits, please read below.

  • Your existing credits can now be used to cover the $10 mail handling fee per shipment going forward.
  • Postage is now paid directly by you to your chosen courier.
  • Credits will automatically be deducted toward the $10 handling fee until exhausted.
  • Any remaining credit balance at the end of your service can be refunded upon cancellation.

This update simplifies the process — you now organise postage directly, and we handle the preparation and handover.

Mail Forwarding

Mail Forwarding is a separate service we offer to Virtual Office & Personal Mailing Address holders. Forwarding is available to domestic and international addresses.

Cost: $10 mail handling fee applies per shipment forwarded.
You choose the courier and pay postage directly (we attach your label and lodge/hand it over).

Courier collections / drop-offs are within staffed hours: Mon–Fri 8am–5pm. Australia Post forwarding is dropped off next business day (or as directed in the form).

You may use any courier provider you prefer. You are responsible for completing shipment details and paying postage.

How to Request Mail Forwarding

Step 1

Reply “forward mail”

Respond to your mail notification email with: forward mail.

Step 2

We send you what you need

We’ll reply with:
• Invoice for mail handling $10 per shipment
• link to the Mail Forwarding Form
• package size & weight (estimate)
• sender details (for courier forms)

Step 3

You create & pay for postage

Complete the shipment details and pay postage directly with Australia Post / DHL / your courier. Generate a shipping label/waybill (PDF).

Step 4

Submit form + upload label

Fill out the Mail Forwarding Form, upload your label/waybill, and pay the invoice.

Once the form is submitted and payment is received, we will:
• consolidate your mail (where possible)
• attach the shipping documentation
• ensure it is available for courier collection (Mon–Fri 8am–5pm) or dropped to Australia Post

If you reply “forward mail”, we will provide an estimated size/weight based on what was received.

Selecting “Document” vs “Non-Document”

Couriers inspect items before sending and shipments can be rejected if classified incorrectly. If the contents are not paper-only, select Non-Document.

✅ Document = Paper ONLY

  • Letters, printed pages, forms, contracts, certificates (paper)
  • No plastic, no items, no valuables

If it’s 100% paper, choose Document.

📦 Non-Document = Anything other than paper

These are ALWAYS Non-Documents:

  • Bank cards / debit cards / credit cards
  • Medicare cards / ID cards
  • SIM cards
  • Any plastic card (membership, gift, access cards)
  • Keys, USBs, products, samples, merchandise

If it contains anything other than paper, select Non-Document.

International Only – Courier Consent to Open

On international collection, couriers may inspect items before they can be accepted and packaged for shipping. This can include opening packages and/or non-paper mail (non-documents) for inspection.

By submitting an international mail forwarding request, you confirm you provide consent for the courier (and/or customs) to open and inspect items where required for international carriage.

Who is this service for?

What do I do first?

Why do I need to choose Document vs Non-Document correctly?

Couriers inspect items before sending and can reject shipments if they are classified incorrectly. Document = paper-only. If it contains anything else (including plastic cards), choose Non-Document.

International: do I need to consent to inspection?

Yes. International couriers may open and inspect shipments (especially non-documents) before they can be packaged for international transport. Submitting an international forwarding request confirms your consent.

What We Don’t Forward Through Our Parcel Forwarding Service in Brisbane

  • Perishable or refrigerated items
  • Dangerous goods, chemicals, aerosols or flammable items
  • Oversized freight or packages above 10kg
  • Unsolicited bulk advertising materials
